I wouldn’t want plastic wrap on my food in the microwave. I’ve placed corn

in a Pyrex dish w/a half an inch of water, covered w/a plastic lid that prevents splattering & holds some steam but it’s not touching the food. I know they have microwaveable saranwrap but I think the jury’s still out. I’ve also seen people use wax paper before but I think it’s easier to use the Pyrex dish & water method.
For me it’s more about whether the corn is fresh. If it’s good fresh corn, I’ll eat it plain w/o salt, pepper or butter.
